2016 Farm Tour

2016 Farm Tour

The 2016 Farm Tour was a farm-tastic weekend!

Over 1,500 tourgoers traveled across the mountains of Western North Carolina to visit local farms on the 2016 Farm Tour, June 25 and 26. Visitors met local farmers and learned about their farm processes, enjoyed demonstrations, tasted delicious farm fresh-foods, and got a deeper understanding of agriculture in our region. Enjoy scenes from the tour by searching #asapfarmtour on FacebookInstagram, and Twitter, and tune in to ASAP’s local food and farm audio series, Growing Local, to hear reflections from visitors!

If you missed the tour, there are still plenty of opportunities to visit local farms throughout the year. Visit our regional farm tour page and events calendar for future events, and use our online Local Food Guide to find more farms to visit.

Save the date for the 2017 Farm Tour on June 24 and 25.

Stay connected to the farms you visited on the tour! Check the farms below to find out where you can purchase their products at area farmers markets, groceries, farm stores, and more. Many farms also host seasonal u-picks, events, dinners, and other on-farm activities.
