Experience the cheesemaking process as our cheesemakers create small batches of cheeses throughout the day. See the beautiful wheels of cheese in the aging room, taste the fresh cheese curds and ice cream, and pet the baby calves!
For sale on tour: Variety of cows’ milk cheeses including tomme style, aged raw, brined curd, camembert style, cheddar, trappist style cheeses; plus homemade ice cream.

Directions: Continue 7.1 miles on 74-Alt East/Charlotte Highway, and turn right onto Cane Creek Road. In 3.8 miles the creamery will be on your left.

Wander our fields and enjoy a colorful bounty of flowers, strawberries, blueberries, and greens. Tour our greenhouses, hoophouses, and farm infrastructure, and learn about the tools we use to grow and harvest our crops. Our farm stand will be open with cut-flowers or you can pick your own!
For sale on tour: Produce and cut flowers available at our self-serve roadside stand; U-pick flowers.

Directions: Continue 7 miles on 74-Alt East/Charlotte Highway to the stop light at Cane Creek Road where the road narrows to two lanes. Stay on 74-A straight through the light. Drive 2 more miles and turn left at the self-service farmstand.

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hickory Nut Gap Farm is a working farm, raising grassfed beef, pastured pork, and pastured chickens. Farmers Will and Walker will be leading guided tours of our pastures, animals, and farm practices at noon, 2 pm, and 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Families can also enjoy self-guided barnyard tours, where they will visit our baby chicks, goats, and sheep. Come visit us and take part in local, sustainable agriculture.
Enjoy a meal: Our menu features a variety of entrees and sides featuring local, seasonal produce, as well as meats from Hickory Nut Gap. Our fresh deli case features house-made sausage, bacon, and charcuterie.
For sale on tour: U-Pick berries, 100% grassfed beef, pastured pork, pastured chicken, eggs, WNC handmade crafts, body care products, local farm products, farm apparel, baked goods, ice cream.
More for kids: Visit with the animals, play in the creek and tunnel slides; we have tether ball, corn hole, a corn maze and nature trail.
