Whether you’re a grower\, an enthusiast\, ready to purchase trees\, an extension agent\, or a researcher\, this is your chance to learn how to determine if truffle tree roots in the orchard or nursery have indication of Tuber spp. using professional lab equipment and guided instruction. \nWhat you’ll learn: \nHow to clean\, prepare\, and examine roots\nDissecting microscope training\nIdentification of Tuber spp. vs. ECM vs. NC morphologies\nUsing FTA cards to stabilize DNA for lab analysis \nMicroscopes and all materials (including root tips) will be provided.
