DESCRIPTION:Join Organic Growers School for our 2nd annual Sow & Grow Fest\, a family-friendly event celebrating Western North Carolina’s vibrant food and farming community! \nEvent Highlights:\n🍽️ Community Potluck: 1-2 PM – Enjoy farm-fresh dishes prepared by our farm program students\, alums\, and partners. Bring your favorite dish to share and join the feast!\n🎶 Live Music: Local musicians Laura Blackley and Ashley Chambliss will entertain you with their soulful sounds.\n🌱 Seed & Plant Share: Meet fellow plant lovers and join interactive gardening demonstrations.\n🍅 Tomato Tastings: Rank the tastiest tomatoes!\n🍻 Local Vendors & Fun Activities: Explore craft beverages and fun family activities.\n🎟️ Admission is Free! Registration is encouraged but optional. Potluck lunch tickets are available for a suggested donation of $20 per person. You can also choose to bring a dish to share.\n🌟 Silent Auction: Starting in August and running through Sow & Grow Fest. Amazing items like East Fork Pottery\, an Airbnb cabin getaway\, an Asheville Artisan gift basket\, and more will be up for grabs!\n📢 Support the Grow for Good Fund: Your potluck ticket donation and silent auction bids support farmer training programs\, scholarships\, mentorships\, and our savings incentive program.\nCelebrate the rich bounty of our region with us! 🌾🥕
