DESCRIPTION:Join Myco Rhizing Mushroom’s Natalie Gerardot and Deep Woods Mushrooms Greg Carter for an afternoon of fungi! We will be discussing mycoremediation techniques post Helene to benefit farmers\, gardeners and yard owners in the cleaning of contamination\, rebuilding and repairing of soil\, stream bank restoration\, stump removal\, waste clean up and waterway contamination mitigation. There will be lots of hands on opportunities to learn the techniques and if you bring an oak logs\, you will leave with a shiitake logs and the knowledge to make more! This event is free\, any donations going to Helene relief efforts locally.
