Steve will point out some of the most romantic things to see in the winter sky\, including the Great Nebula of Orion\, the Pleiades star cluster\, and the location of the beautiful Heart Nebula. We’ll share stories of some of the winter constellations including Orion\, Canis Major\, and the famous star-crossed lovers of Perseus and Andromeda. \nShow up early and hit the farm store to get snacked up! DESCRIPTION:Learn about how our hogs are pasture raised from our farm director Virginia Hamilton. She will discuss heritage breeds\, health benefits of pasture raised pork and how various inputs on the production side that impact the quality of the meat. \nThis is a much smaller\, hands-on class with Butcher Brian\, meant for those who want to make sausage at home or on site from scratch.
