See hops growing on the vine, flowers blooming in our pollinator gardens, and monarchs and native butterflies flying in our butterfly house. Join a guided tour at 1 pm and 3 pm to learn about our hop production and pollinator fields, or simply enjoy wandering through our butterfly house, blueberry fields, and pollinator gardens.
Enjoy a meal: Barbecue.
For sale on tour: Milkweed plants, stained glass, bee hotels, butterfly nets, pollinator attracting seeds.

Directions: Take I-40 East out of Asheville toward Statesville to exit 64, Black Mountain. Take a left off exit onto Highway 9 North. Drive 1 mile and bear left onto North Fork Road. Continue 1.4 miles and turn right onto North Fork/Right Fork Road. Go 1.2 miles and turn right onto Walkertown Road. Turn right on Middle Mountain Road, and follow the road straight to our farm.

Round Mountain Creamery

Round Mountain Creamery is the first combined Dairy Goat Farm and Grade A Goat Milk Processing Plant in the state of North Carolina. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains on 28 acres, our farmstead is nestled just below Round Mountain, about 25 miles southeast of Asheville. Our pampered Alpine and LaMancha goat herd provide an excellent quality goat milk for our farmstead Grade A vat pasteurized goat milk and goat cheeses.
For sale on tour: Grade A vat-pasteurized milk whole goat milk, goat cheese, goat milk gelato.
More for kids: Try your hand at milking a goat, play with the kids, and taste some of our amazing milk and cheese!
Directions: Take I-40 East out of Asheville toward Statesville to exit 64, Black Mountain. Take a right off the exit, following signs for Chimney Rock/Lake Lure. Continue on Highway 9 South for approximately 9.6 miles, following signs carefully. Turn left at Highway 2791/Old Fort Road. Travel about 1 mile; our creamery is on the right.

Recovery Ventures Corporation is the only substance abuse treatment program in North Carolina that uses Horticultural Therapy for addiction recovery. Visit our working farm, where residents learn how to grow food and raise animals. Tour our hydroponics greenhouse, hothouse, fields, and chicken coop.
For sale on tour: Hydroponic lettuce, microgreens, and seasonal vegetables.
Directions: Take I-40 East out of Asheville to exit 73, which is the second Old Fort exit. Take a right off the ramp onto Bat Cave Road. Travel approximately 6 miles, and turn left onto Davistown Church Road. The farm is approximately 2 miles on the left; look for our big greenhouse and vegetable stand.

See our new state-inspected processing floor where we process our own meat products. We truly are farm to fork! Enjoy a walk through our beautiful farm pastures, where you can catch sights of our pastured pigs and piglets. Peek inside our farrowing house to see our sows and newborn piglets. We will be offering free samples of some of our products.
Enjoy a meal: (Saturday only) Variety of grilled sausages, drinks, chips, and lemon shake ups.
For sale on tour: All cuts of pork, uncured bacon, ground sausage, bratwurst, kielbasa, and a variety of specialty sausages.

Directions: From I-40 East, take exit 73, which is the second Old Fort exit. Turn right onto Old Bat Cave Road. Drive 6 miles, then turn left onto Cedar Creek Road, just past the entrance to Gateway Mountains development (first .3 miles is dirt that will turn to pavement). Travel 6 miles; the farm is on the left, just past Cedar Creek Riding Stables.
