There are many opportunities in our region to develop meaningful relationships with skilled farmers. Avoid common pitfalls and mistakes by studying with those who’ve already made them.
- ASAP’s Business of Farming Conference is a great place for networking with experienced farmers, as well as with other beginning farmers and regional food buyers and business owners.
- CRAFT: The Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training (CRAFT) is a program offered by Organic Growers School that brings established farmers, farm apprentices, and agriculture students together for a training program consisting of farm/intern matching and monthly on-farm workshops.
- CABA: Community Agri-Business Alliance is a program offered by Mountain BizWorks. Members of the alliance support each other and build connections with the broader business community.
