ASAP’s CSA Fair is an opportunity to meet farmers face-to-face and learn about their CSA programs and products. You can sign up to learn more, or bring your checkbook to subscribe on the spot! Groups from workplaces and congregations are encouraged to attend, as many farms will deliver direct to these locations if numbers allow.
ASAP’s CSA Fair has passed but you can still sign up for a CSA membership! See a list of participating farms to learn about their CSA programs. Or, go to the CSA section of ASAP’s online Local Food Guide to find farms offering CSA programs across the region. Select CSAs under “farm features” and search by your town or county.
What is “CSA” or Community Supported Agriculture)? CSA is a way to enjoy fresh locally grown food and connect with the farmers who grow it. Family farms offering traditional CSAs provide the chance to sign up for a season and receive a box of produce straight from their farm every week! What’s more, they offer convenient pick-up or delivery schedules. ASAP’s CSA Fair offers the opportunity to ask local farmers what products, membership options, and pick-up spots they offer.
Are you a business interested in offering CSAs at your workplace? Learn about workplace CSA programs and bring community supported agriculture to you. Some farms will deliver directly to a business or group who have a minimum number of sign-ups.
Sponsor the fair and show your support for local food and farms! Contact Scott Bunn at email@example.com for more information on how to sponsor future events.
