Wild East Farm raises pastured, organic fed chickens. We have a fully outfitted outdoor facility to process all poultry onsite using safe and humane methods. Processing days are fun, smooth, and efficient.
We are seeking contract crew members to help with processing days this season. Details are below:
- Crew members will be paid $17/hour OR trade for equal value in chicken. Your choice.
- We will be processing ~250 chickens each date.
- All days start at 8am and will conclude by 1pm, likely earlier some days depending on folks pace.
- Snacks provided afterwards.
Dates are 2 per month on average through the summer season. There are no processing dates in August. Crew members are not required to sign up for all dates. Contact us for the full schedule and with any questions.
