2022 NC Foothills Farm Tour
June 25 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
The NC Foothills Farm Tour is back with a fantastic lineup on June 25th, 2022. The event is open to everyone and will feature six locations throughout Polk and Rutherford counties. The June farm tour is self-guided, so you can look into all of the options ahead of time and decide where you want to visit based on your interests. On your visit producers will share their passion and knowledge for as long as you’d like.
Tickets are sold per vehicle on Eventbrite, so you only need one for your whole car. More information and the link to tickets can be found at www.ncfoothillsfarmtour.com. We can’t wait to see you, your family, and friends supporting our local food producers and community builders.
Learn more, check out the locations that you’ll be able to visit, order tickets through our website, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram @ncfoothillsfarmtour.
We are also looking for volunteers to help out with the farm tour on the day of the event. We ask volunteers to work for a half-day, and then receive a free ticket to participate in the tour for the other half of the day. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at email@example.com.
Do you want to go on a farm tour but don’t think you’ll be able to make the June 25th date? Stay tuned for more information about our October 15th event, which will be structured as a small group tour with in-depth looks at other farms in Polk and Rutherford counties.
The October tour will be more structured and scheduled ahead of time, rather than the style of choosing your own adventure that the June event will feature.
One of our favorite aspects of visiting a farm is getting to spend some time with the farmers themselves, and really getting a close-up view of how their farm operations work. It’s all about the community connections we make.
And so for 2022, we are offering more ways to learn, share, and engage with your local farms.
Tickets are now available.
