This October, join three Polk County homesteading families for an educational, entertaining and edible homestead tour where you can see a variety of homesteads of different sizes, uses and goals. Starting at 9:00 am and ending at 4:00pm on October 14, you can tour the homesteads with their operators. At three specific times, throughout the day, you will be able to see skill demonstrations including sheep hoof trimming, goat milking, feeding livestock, fence repairs, preserving the harvest, mushroom log inoculation, and much more.

To catch all three, there are specific tours at each farm 9:30, 12:30 and 2:30 along with a skill demonstration, you can design your own tour and catch all three or just one! Each homestead will have a display of what they grow and produce on their land. Once tickets are purchased, addresses of the farms will be shared via email to ticketholders 2-3 days in advance.
