Cultural Use Of Native Plants With Renowned Ethnobotanist Marc Williams

September 30, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

We will go for a plant walk to learn how to identify a woody plant by the leaves, bark and other characteristics. Common and obscure uses for woody plants of the Southeastern flora that may support overall health, well-being and sustenance will also be discussed. Various products from woody plants will be on display and available to sample as well.

Ethnobiologist Marc Williams has studied the people, plant, mushroom and microbe interconnection intensively while learning to employ botanicals and other life forms for food, medicine, and beauty in a regenerative manner.
