Local Lab Kickoff (Greater Asheville)
Urban Manufacturing Alliance (UMA) is thrilled to announce we are launching a Local Lab in greater Asheville, NC focused on supporting food and beverage manufacturers in the region!
July through December 2025, UMA will organize and lead a community engagement process to generate recommendations for strategies and actions to help start, scale, and sustain food and beverage manufacturers in the region. Take a peek at the attached project overview for more details.

This event is open to anyone in the greater Asheville, NC area that owns, operates, or works in a food or beverage making and manufacturing business.
