Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center Field Day 2023

Please make plans to join us for the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center Field Day 2023 on the afternoon of Thursday, August 10th for a special opportunity to see a showcase of all of our research areas here at MHCREC. We are delighted to provide an opportunity for guests to see additional programs alongside the traditional tomato field day program.
You will have the opportunity to choose any 2 of the 3 available routes that might be of interest to you:
Route 1: Tomatoes and Vegetables (traditional program that features our tomato breeders, entomology, food safety and plant pathology)
Route 2: Apples (pathology, entomology, physiology, and more!)
Route 3: Specialty Crops (including new and emerging crops like hemp, as well as our breeding program that focuses on new nursery and landscape crops)
Please note a couple important changes from previous Field Days:
There will not be any pre-registration, so attendees will register on site upon arrival, starting at 12:30pm.
There won’t be a large sit-down meal this year as we’ve had in years past.
