Yes, holiday farmers tailgate markets are wrapping (pun intended!) up. But that doesn’t mean there will be months of missing markets until spring rolls around; winter tailgates are just around the corner!
You can finish your last-minute gift and meal shopping at the last of area holiday tailgates this week and weekend. Look for handmade items from candles to scarves, along with greens, root veggies, eggs, meats, cheeses, and baked goods. Take a look back at some of our most recent tailgate reports for specific gift ideas and to help with the planning of your feast! Here’s a list of these final markets (Note: There are some new additions from weeks past, as we’ve gotten more details from markets):

- Grow Down Home Farmers Market: Saturday, December 22, 10 am-1 pm at 105 Richardson Avenue in Black Mountain.
- Haywood’s Historic Farmers Market: The holiday/winter market is through, but expect their regular seafood vendor and a few others Saturday December 22 and 29, 8 am-noon at the Hart Theater parking lot.
