With all the snow last weekend, area winter farmers markets didn’t get to shine on their opening day. Some Asheville City Market vendors and shoppers did come out and brave the weather, but overall last weekend was not the bustling winter markets we’re used to.
This coming Saturday will certainly feel more like the ‘real’ first market of the year — area markets, vendors, and shoppers are eager to see one another and come together among heaping tables of winter produce, staples, and other locally-prepared foods. You won’t want to miss out!
