Special holiday/winter markets: November 26 and December 3, 10, and 17 are special holiday events; hours will change for holiday markets to 10 am-1 pm (the market will close, however, on November 19 for the annual holiday parade).

Black Mountain Tailgate Market

Special holiday/winter markets: Saturday, November 19, from 10 am to 1 pm at the White Horse in Black Mountain, 105C Montreat Road (new location this year). This event features local foods and treats for your Thanksgiving feast, as well as unique handcrafted items perfect for holiday gift giving.

Flat Rock Tailgate Market

Special holiday/winter markets: Flat Rock Christmas Market: December 10 from 2 until 5 pm in the courtyard of the Hubba Hubba Restaurant at 2720 Greenville Highway. Market will feature available produce, holiday baked goods, breads, cookies, pies, cakes, jams, jellies, goat and cow milk cheeses, fudge, soap, poinsettias, wreaths, Christmas trees, holiday greenery, lamb, chicken, pork, eggs, and more.

Haywood’s Historic Farmers Market

Special holiday/winter markets: Wednesdays and Saturdays November through December 17, with possibility of continuing longer. The tailgate moves indoors for the holiday markets to 449A Pigeon Street, 276 South, on the corner of Pigeon and Craven Streets in Waynesville. Holiday markets will offer veggies, meats, eggs, seafood, baked goods, jams, pickles, honey, soaps, candles, pottery, and more.

Historic Marion Tailgate Market

Special holiday/winter markets: November and December markets are special Fall Craft Markets. Hours are 3 until 5:30 pm, except 10 am until noon on the first and third Saturdays of each month. Expect produce, such as greens and turnips; meats, cheese, handcrafted items, baked goods, knitted items, jewelry, soaps, and more.

9th Annual Holiday Bazaar

*UPDATED*Special holiday/winter markets: December 3, 10, and 17 from 11 am until 3 pm at the site of the Montford Farmers Market in the parking lot of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce (new location this year). Expect local dancers, a capella singers, breads, savory and sweet treats, honey, jellies, jams, molasses, cheese, meats, and Christmas trees and wreaths.

Jackson County Farmers Market

Final regular-season market: Saturday, October 29
Special holiday/winter markets: Beginning November 5, the market moves indoors to the Episcopal Church, 18 Jackson Street, in downtown Sylva. The market runs every week until Christmas, skips Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and picks back up the following Saturday, then running every other Saturday through April. The market runs 9 am until noon.

Madison County Farmers & Artisans Market

Special holiday/winter markets:
Every Saturday beginning November 19 and running through December 17 at Fiddlestix in Mars Hill (beside the Public Library). Markets will feature meats, cheese, vegetables, honey, baked goods, candies, arts and crafts, soaps, jewelry, candles, quilts and more. Also expect a hot lunch each market from Mackey Farm.

Special holiday/winter markets: November 8: Winter Wellness. Find special healing arts vendors selling products and services and providing demonstrations—from herbalists to massage therapists to yoga instructors and more. November 22: End-of-season Thanksgiving celebration and holiday basket sale. Baskets will be full of goodies from market vendors.

White Horse Farmers Market (Fall Market of Black Mountain Tailgate Market)

Vendors from the Black Mountain Tailgate Market will serve you with their locally produced offerings in an indoor setting. Pasture raised meats, NC seafood, artisanal cheeses, vegan breads, gourmet chocolate, jewelry, and fresh baked goods are all available to extend your tailgate shopping needs.

*UPDATED*Special holiday/winter market: Extended market season happening indoors every Saturday during November. Market is located in Area C of the Burnsville Town Center and offers produce, baked and canned goods, cheese, hot chocolate and hot tea, country crafts and prepared breakfast and lunch goodies. Market hours have changed to 9 am until 1 pm. Special holiday celebrations on December 3 and December 10 from 9 am until 3 pm. These markets will featured baked goods, crafts, eggs, honey, goat cheeses, and late-season produce.
